BACK ON THE PIRATE SHIP Dave will rejoin Gary Cohen and engineer Mike Infantino for their ninth year together on the Seton Hall Basketball Radio Network. Dave will first do play-by-play on SNY for the Nov. 12 opener vs. St. Francis, NY and then serve as the color commentator for Cohen on the balance of the radio games. 77WABC and ESPN New York 1050 will each carry about half of the Seton Hall broadcasts this year. | NEC TV NETWORK Popkin returns for his 12th year as the men's basketball play-by-play Voice of the Northeast Conference Television Network. He is currently slated to call eight games on MSG and a variety of regional sports networks. | WOODEN AWARD 2011 Dave is a voter for the John R. Wooden Award, which is presented annually to the college basketball player of the year by the Los Angeles Athletic Club. This year he voted Kemba Walker of UCONN first, Jimmer Fredette of BYU second, and Derrick Williams of Arizona third.
| COLLEGE HOOPS TONIGHT Dave Popkin, Matt Harmon, and Mike Gill will host, 'College Hoops Tonight Presented by Pizza Hut' a weekly college basketball show on 97.3 FM ESPN and 1160 AM and 1310 AM WOBM starting Thursday, December 9 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and it will run through the Final Four. The first show will be broadcast live from the Georgetown/Temple game at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. Seton Hall and Monmouth are two other confirmed show sites.
